Default Wort chiller Sanitation

I had been making 10 gall batches with my keggle, but now think I might start doing some 5 gal. batches as well. My wort chiller just barely comes above the boil line on 10 gal. but is way above on 5 gal batches. Should I sanitize the wort chiller in some iodine solution or something else to account for fact that some of wort chiller will never be in boiling wort for 15 minutes?

I've been doing 5 gallon batches in my keggle and have had no infected batches so far. I put the chiller in around 15 minutes from the end. I figure that even though its not fully submerged, the steam and heat conductivity of copper would be enough to kill whatever is on the chiller.

+1 I rinse the chiller when done, then nothing, until I put it back in the next boil 15-20 minutes before the end. No problems.
