Default Wort Chiller - Sani-Kool Paddles?

Has anyone ever used these to chill wort? They are food grade plastic, designed to be frozen, and then placed in liquid to cool it.

Is there a reason this wouldn't work? Would it invite to much bacteria - even if I star-san the paddle?

San Jamar - Smart | Safe | Sanitary

Thanks for the input. My first batch will be brewed tonight! Wish me luck

i dont see any problem with these at all- in fact, some people just use old one-liter coke bottles frozen to cool their wort

id just splash them around in iodophor/starsan to sanitize them before i put them in the wort

make sure they wont leach chemicals at what ever temp you plan to put them in your brew.
