Get a 1/2" pipe to copper adapter and then come out of that with 1/2" copper, a 90° elbow, and another short section of copper. Keep the last section shoet enough to allow you to screw the fitting in and then leave it off the bottom some so you don't suck up all the trub in your keggle.

I'm not sure I'm able to get the fittings in time. Can I rack the bottom to my primary?

I guess I can always use my 7 gallon brew kettle for tomorrow. It's worked fine for the last year.
