What SIze Oetiker Clamp For 1/2" ID Silicon Hose On 1/2" Barbs

The silicone hose 'squeezes' and the clamps are in metric and collapse only a small amount. :P

What size O clamp did you use?

I assume you are looking for the Oetiker Stepless Ear Clamps? I think we would need to know the OD of your Silicone tubing as 1/2" Silicone tubing can be either 1/16" wall or 5/8" OD or 1/8" wall or 3/4" OD. If your Silicone tubing has an OD of 5/8" I would say you need a 17mm clamp (Open IN: .669", Closed IN: .571") and if the OD of your Silicone Tubing was 3/4" you need a 21mm clamp (Open IN: .827", Closed IN: .701").

Sawdustguy's answer is pretty much all you need, just wanted to say that I love the Oetiker clamps. I have a lot in my system and they are very secure and leak/rust free.

Yeah, forgot to give the OD.:o
Thanks for the help!

Like this only a little smaller. ;)
'Stepless' means no ends of the bands in the ID so a better, more firm grip.

The worm clamps let the meat come through the worm screw slots, and the loose tabs catch on stuff. :(
