I have a ton of 4gallon food grade plastic buckets, and I would like to make use of them for smaller batches. I need to drill the lids though, and was wondering if anyone knows what size bit I'd want to use for common stoppers?

I use a 1.25" holesaw for my 6.5 bungs. The bung sits about 0.25" proud of the lid so you don't have much worry of accidentally pushing it through.
