Default Taps Q

Anyone know what a tap compensator does?

Any link I can go to and do some research?

I'm not positive and I could not really find any good info, but I believe that a compensator tap allows you to adjust the flow restriction at the faucet, based on the carbonation level of the beer being served, without having to adjust the serving line length.

Thanks, John.

David: I already knew it's a European tap. I really wanted to know what it does. Sounds beneficial. Thanks.
