Default Split Fermenter - ouch

Hi,

I've just tried fitting a tap to my plastic 25l fermenter and the bloody thing has split.

I could probably get a seal using some sealant but I'm thinking this is going to cause sanitising issues...?

any thoughts?

I would definately just get a new one. Sealing it back together is definately asking for sanitation problems. Sorry to hear about your loss, thats a bummer. At least plastic fermenters are cheap!! (unless we're talking about better bottles)

thanks for the quick reply.... yep, that's what I'm thinking. I'd rather spend another £10 and get decent beer instead of ruining several batches
