Default The size of your thermometer

No... not that kind of thermometer! I was thinking of adding a weldless thermometer to my keggle and I am interested to know what is better, the 2" 0r 6" probe. Thoughts???

The shorter probe works with an immersion chiller to keep it out of the way. In either case you will need to stir to get an average reading of the liquid inside the keg.
