I have a noob question for everyone. I noticed that my siphon hose has become cloudy. Is this normal? Or should I get a new hose? It is a new hose and it is food grade.

I wouldn[t worry about it. As long as you sanitize it properly before use. I have transfer hoses that appear darkened by the iodophor.

Do you use Starsan? If you let clear plastics soak for a long time in it, they will turn cloudy. No worries, it just happens.

+1 Had it happen to me before on some blow off tube. Just make sure it's cleaned well and sanitize it before use.

Yeah it happens my syphon hoses too when I leave them overnight in my bleach:vinegar sanitising solution, don't worry about it, seems to be normal.
