Anybody ever try something like this to keep the MashTun heated? I've got buttloads of insulation and I still lose about 2 to 3 degrees minimum over 60 minute single infusion mash. Seems like the 15 gallon drum heater could be perfect for my 15.5gal MLT keggle.

It might work, but for not much more money you could build a simple rims system with a 1500 watt heating element.
