Default Sight glass in a RIMS?

Can these stand heat? Could you put it in the middle of the brewershardware RIMS or might it be too long? Or maybe at the exit or entrance of any RIMS?

I would imagine that they could stand the heat but to be sure send an email to Derrin at Brewers Hardware and explain your application. I'm sure he will respond.
