Sanyo 4912

Can I just ask one question, I have noticed that the Sanyo 4910 props up alot of times on this forum. I presume it is converted to a kegerator. I too want to buy a fridge and convert to a kegerator to house my cornys. What is so special about the Sanyo 4912? Not been ignorant or anything but been based in Europe this fridge is not available to me. Is this a good fridge to convert to a kegerator?

The reason that the Sanyo 4912 4.9 cubic foot mini fridge, and others of similar design, are popular to convert into a kegerator is due to the fact that they don't have a freezer compartment taking up valuable space inside. This allows two 5 gallon soda kegs and a 5 lb CO2 tank to fit inside. The other popular choice is the Kenmore Elite 4.9 of something like that.

Basically it's a cheap fridge that is easy to find and convert and it fits 2 cornies and a tank easily. You could use any fridge as long as you know where not to drill.
