The TE-3-MD-HC is a 1/25th HP Pump, the 3-MD-HC is a 1/12th HP Pump. So the TE would be close to the March and Chugger pumps as far as power is concerned. I have the 3-MD-HC and absolutely love it, I only run it full blast when whirlpooling and during the first part of my drain to the fermenter.
