Default Is it possible to mount a thermometer probe on a rubbermaid round MLT?

Has anybody ever done this before? I am thinking it would be helpful to have this in order to continually regulate my mash temp. from outside the MLT.

let me know about your experiences.

thanks
RJ

Nope, can't be done!

I used a cooler thermometer fitting from Northern Brewer. Actually, this cheap meat thermometer failed after about a dozen batches, I've got a digital one in there now.
