Default pick up tube

I bought a pick up tube from bargain fittings and I was wondering if anyone knows what gauge ss they use. I need to cut about an inch off and I was hoping a metal pipe cutter would work

You mean a tubing cutter? It will cut any thickness tubing.

That's a compact version of a cutter meant for cutting in tight spaces. You'll have better luck with a full size version for only a buck or two more.
