Oxyclean Free no longer available?
|
|
My local grocery store used to have 2 oxyclean products. One with a scent (can't recall the exact name) and Oxyclean free. The Oxyclean free was the one I used. Lately they only have one "new" package called Oxyclean versatile. I cannot tell if this is fragrance dye free or not.
Anyone know if the Oxcyclean free is no longer available or perhaps this versatile product took its place?

I got the regular oxyclean at Costco, works fine, I rinse several times and then soak in star san so not much of any fragrance or dye is going to survive that.

According to the oxyclean website (amazing what you can find online) "Free" and "Versatile" are two different products.

Mine is "Oxyclean versatile free" so that's even more confusing. And I saw it at the store just this weekend.

The website kind of states it the same way, but flip "free" and "versatile" (Oxyclean Free Versatile).

Out this way oxy versitile (the one with fragrance) and oxy free are both available...
Of course - the two stores that I've found it in my tiny town aren't out in VT (target and fred meyers). Walmart SHOULD have oxy free... versitile has fragrance in it - why risk it?

I thought the non "free" versatile version just had an added soil dispersing agent(the blue crystals) and not perfume/dye. Also, I hear that that other knock off brands such as those carried are the dollar store (Sun Oxygen cleaner IIRC) works as well and are cheaper.

Mine says "versatile free". No dyes, no fragrance, no bleach.
