Default outdoor cooker

hey everyone, iv recently been looking into some outdoor cookers. i was looking at the Bayou cookers because they seemed like a good product at a decent price. im having a hard time deciding which one to get though

does anyone have either of these 2 cookers? if so, whats the difference between the two? how has this cooker held up for you?

thanks,

-nick

The second one hands down. I have used both. I used the first one (smaller) for about 1/2 year. It was definitely adequate, but have been using 2 of the burners on my stand that are in your second link. The second burner heats soooo much more quickly than the old one did. Durability is about the same probably. The second one will spread the flame out more, providing more even heat and will heat faster.

I brew 10 gallon batches, which often requires boiling 13-14 gallons at the beginning of my boil. This burner gets it rolling within 10-15 min. 5 gallon batches... forget it... smokes it!
