I'm building a rectangular cooler mast tun for the the first time. Finally got my manifold pieced together and in place. How does it look and any recommendations? Do I need to use hi temp hose to drain?
You will probably want hi-temp hose for the drain. Plain vinyl tubing will heat up, soften and kink at the outlet hose making it necessary to support it to drain.
I've been using regular 3/8 vinyl tubing on mine for 15+ batches and it does heat up but it shouldn't kink if you aren't running your line too far before your kettle
