Default Needed parts?

Santa put a Polar Ware pot under the tree. It has a ball valve and an additional port above that. Neither from Polar Ware's website nor searching the forums could I find what other pieces parts I need. Would love to hear from some sage HB persons what they recommend I purchase. Thermometer? Hose connector? The glass sight thingy?
Appreciate the input.

What's it's intended use? BK, MT, HLT? Personally if it's just a BK, I'd put a thermometer, or thermowell in it.

Above the ball valve is usually reserved for a dial thermometer. Sight gauges typcailly mount at or below the ball valve port...

Cheers!

Nine here not tracking your abbreviations. MT = mash ton? No.
Right now extract brewing only. Going to watch a full grain brew today from 17 yr brewer so I may upgrade soon. BK? HLT?

BK - Brew Kettle
HLT - Hot Liquor Tank (hot water for the mash...never understood the liquor)
MT - Mash Tun

By the way, what size pot did Santa get you? I have 8 gallons and regret the size. 10 is likely what I needed for 5 gallon all grain batches (I sparge in my Brew Kettle with a Bazooka screen). I can do it, but have to monitor the gas closely to prevent spillovers.
