Craigslist turkey fryer. They go for around $40. If you don't need the aluminum pot or accessories that come with it, turn around and sell them for $10-20.
You end up with a $20-30 fryer. Good luck. |

I'm surprised that anyone is still using the 23 & 32 multi-jet wok burners at all. As you may have guessed, I think they genuinely suck for home brewing. I'm also not too fond of the BG-10 cup type diffuser burners. They work, but they aren't very fuel efficient and the flame level control leaves a lot to be desired. The 6" ring burners and an adjustable 0-15 psi regulator/w high pressure orifice would be my choice.
If you are looking for a burner & stand, the Bayou Classic SQ-14 would be my pick. It's the best bang for the buck and an excellent burner: http://www.amazon.com/Bayou-Classic-SQ14-Single-Outdoor/dp/B0009JXYQ4 |
i need the burner and stand a 30 qt pot would not hurt either

Turkey fryers are abundant on their and most are used less than 5x. |
I did AG brewing on one of these for many a batch when I first got started (already had a large pot), and I even used the fryer it came with for fish and fries a few times.
