Do these hobbies ever end. I started off with wine making and have an extensive cellar full of around 1000 bottles of wine. Since i typically out make anything I do and go overboard I needed something to do as I just cant fit anymore wine in that room nor do I need any more wine then that although i do do a few batches here and there cause I get the fruit free. Now ive been dong all grain for awhile and finally got my fridge so i have 2 cornies full and picking up another 2 tomorrow morning along with a dble reg and a "T" cause i also have sparkling wine on tap so I need higher pressure there. In a few more weeks I am getting a new 10 gallon brew pot with spigot, thermo and sight glass for boiling and a MLT 8 gallon pot with the same features for the new sculpture I built. I also have a decent sized still also. Whats next after this?

Marijuana. You'll need an empty field since your basement is full.

I agree. I've got 47 acres for sell in N. Mississippi. I'll let it go cheap for a cut of the profits, lol.

You would be surprised of similarities between brewing beer and keeping aquariums.
And if you really need to blow the money saltwater tanks are the way to go.
You could also try your hand at making mead or soda

Homemade pizza in an outdoor brick oven, goes well with beer & wine. Use sourdough yeast cultures and now your talking about a time consuming hobby.

I don't get it. It takes almost no effort to maintain a sourdough culture. I suppose if you had several strains going, it could be a bit more time-consuming...

Cultures plural. When I had 4 going at the same time it was a royal pain. Finally settled on the one I liked and now its easy. Seems like the OP is prone to excess and would have one for every country in the world! But you are correct, once you get the hang of it, pretty simple.

Absolutely Sam, good wine, good beer, the logical progression is good food.
