Default MLT leakage issues

I was all happy that I got my MLT finished... until I leak tested it. I have serious leakage at the cooler penetration. I even kept the old washer that was on the cooler and fit it over the pipe.

I haven't had this much water on my kitchen floor since I broke the cast iron pipe that ran to my sink.

Is there some trick or am I just that stupid?

What kind of cooler are you using and what does your bulkhead look like?

I must be the luckiest dog.

I just found a couple of grommets from another project that just happened to fit the outside diameter of 1/2" PVC pipe and the inside of my cooler holes. I'm not sure if they are food grade or not. They were intended for electrical conduit penetrations.

I'll try to get some pics up as soon as I get my daughter asleep.
