Hello from the great white north,

I was wondering if any one knows a manufacturer of the inline air filters sold on norther brewers website. As I am Canadian and NB does not ship up here I am looking for a supplier of these devices.

Any information would be really appreciated.

Cheers,
Matthew

i'll probably get ripped for saying this, but mine clogged up months ago, so i stopped using it and nothing bad has resulted from it.

I use pure O2 for aeration, so I never used a filter.

Using an airpump, I'd be a little more wary, but I'd make my own filter with some aquarium filter floss or quilt batting and a plastic tube with flared ends.

For a few more dollars, do yourself a favor and purchase a lab grade sterile filter with 3x the surface area and a 60 PSI rating.

I abandoned the cheap sterile filters they sell at homebrew shops a couple of months ago and haven't looked back. :)

Thank you everyone,

I have contacted northern brewer and the sterile filter is made by fermentap

Lamarguy I have used filters like those in a lab before, those are best suited for sterile filtration of clean aqueous liquids. Thank you though.

I will check out morebeer.com

Cheers,
Matthew
