Well I started this thread looking to ID my regulator, but I already found that info so now I'm just posting about a good deal I found :)

Good story here: Was planning on buying copper tube tonight to make a immersion chiller. Hardware store by my place didn't have any 3/8 longer than 10ft, so I went home instead and tried to find a place that carried it. Found a few places, all closed for the night. Looked at a few different chiller designs, etc etc.

At some point in the evening, I thought "I should check Kijiji for used stuff". Popped on and voila, a huge sale of all sorts of stuff. Called the guy, most of it was taken, but I headed over anyway.

Ended up getting:
20lb Co2 bottle
10lb Nitrogen/mix bottle
Ashcroft regulator (857-a?)
6gal pot w/ drain
6gal plastic bucket w/ 2 110V heating elements and drain
A 3/8 copper immersion chiller!

All for $100 :ban:

I'd pay about $45 for that stuff. But I already have bigger kettles and an immersion chiller.;)

Ya I'm trying to find a use for a plastic bucket with heating elements...

$100 is pretty good. A 20 lb CO2 tank usually runs around there give or take.

I'm in Edmonton also and that's about 250 in the bottles and regulator. You beat me to the tanks I had an email in on them also.
