kegorator switch help

ok I got my old kegerator back from a buddy who does not have the room for it anymore and I am going to use it to store my kegs in as I upgraded to a new kegorator. I have one small problem the fan in the kegorator never stops it keeps running. This unit is so old about 25 years old and I think the main switch inside is finally going. My question is can I replace the switch that runs the refrigerator and hook it to the fan so that when the refrigerator goes on the fan goes on and when the temperature is reached the fan and refrigerator goes off? what type of switch do I need to get. the switch looks just like the one in your normal fridge so i was thinking of getting one of those but does anyone know where to buy them?
