Keggles are cheaper than an equal sized 15 gal. SS kettle.
Keggles take longer to heat up and longer to cool down.
Keggles are most solidly built.
Good SS kettles usually have an aluminum clad bottom which heats up faster and spreads the heat more evenly.
Because there is less mass the SS kettle will cool down faster.
Most large SS kettles are wider rather than tall so that also helps the contents heat up faster.
SS kettles look awesome from the start. It will require some work to make a keggle as shiny and nice looking.
