I kegged a batch of beer recently that ended up being infected. I have dumped the batch and now want to prep the keg for a new batch.

I am replacing the o-rings and plan on soaking the keg in PBW and then letting sanitizer (Star San) sit in the keg for a couple days.

Should this protocol be enough to prevent infection of my next batch?

yes it will make that keg habitable for clean beer. i brew/keg 100% brett beer all the time and have never even thought about replacing the O rings, never had a problem.

That will do it. You don't need to soak the keg for days with starsan though. Just clean it really well (especially the poppets, threads, and under the rim), replace the O-rings, and make sure the sanitizer touches everything for the manufacturers recommended time. An extended contact of starsan wont make it any more sanitary, for what it's worth.
