Default Keezer forst

I pugged my keezer in yesterday and now it's taking forever to get to 40F, along the top of the freezer there is a little section of frost.

Is the freezer broke?

If it is frosting over, it's getting cold enough to freeze condensation on the freezer walls.

I would check your seals and see where there is a leak that is letting warm air in.

Try picking up some damp-rid as well. It will help take the moisture out of the air.

Oh ya. It's taking forever to get cold.

I'd say something is wrong with your freezer. It looks like ALL the coolant is stuck at the top, so its freezing up there, and no where else.

when a freezer is on a temperature controller, you should get NO frost, just condensation (hence the suggestion for some damp rid). a keezer should be above freezing temperature...thus no frost.
