Default I've decided....
I've made my mind up...
Aluminium is perfectly okay to use in brewing.
I just wouldn't scrub the hell out of it in case it causes off flavours.

I just thought I'd let you know.
(I only decided 2 minutes ago)
It dents and scratches easier and it is not as resilient in cleaning but if you can live with that then go for it.
