Default IC Chiller for Keggle - big enough?

I need to make a bigger chiller for my new keggle, but I'm not sure what size to go with. If I use my old 3-5 gallon chiller as a pre-chiller, will 25 feet of 1/2be enough? Just trying to save some $$$ where I can.

I would recommend 50', especially if you ever want to do a 10 gallon batch.

Go for 50' of 3/8" vs 25' of 1/2'. With 1/2" x 15' your surface area is 39.27 sq/in of surface area vs 58.90 sq/in of surface of 50' of 3/8" tubing.
Adjust your water flow to the exiting water temp.
