Default How to clean reusable nylon hops bag

Is there a preferred method to cleaning reusable nylon hops bags? I am currently doing some laundry, and was thinking about washing the bag with some of my clothes. Would this be a good idea to clean the bag? Also, how many times can these bags be cleaned/reused?

I rinse them inside and out with high pressure water out of the hose nozzle...that's it.

You could probably Oxiclean them if you want to brighten them up a bit.

Rinse it out in the sink or with a garden hose and let it air dry.

you can thrown them in the dishwasher or in the washing machine with oxiclean.

I just boil mine in some oxiclean for a couple of minutes when I clean up at the end of a brew session.

I throw them in the dishwasher as well.

Recently, I just bought a bunch of the disposable muslin bags in bulk and just use those.

I use dish soap and hand wash, with good results.

+1 same here, Turn inside out and dump spent hops into a plastic bag, discard, rinse remaining hop particles out then in the sink of soapy water

I just turn mine inside out, let the garbage disposal gnaw on the hops (usually leaf) and spray it out with my sink sprayer. No soap; never had an issue.

Rinse with water hose and hang dry. If you are going to use in your boil, just add hops. If it is going into a secondary for dry-hopping, the I would give it a good dunk it sanitizer first, then add hops.
