Here is an example pic. I know the hoses are too long but I hadn't finalized the pump mounting yet.

I've been tossing around the idea of making hose and valve tags out of aluminum and using the etching idea posted above. Stainless would be nice but Al would be easier to work with and you could get it from HD.

What about single wrap of colored electrical tape near each fitting, but on the tube? You would need multiple colors, but likely not more than a few.
