HERMS Temp Probe Question

So I am putting together plans to build a HERMS system. The only thing I cannot figure out right now is how to get my temperature probe inline with the wort before it re-enters the mash tun.

This is the mash thermometer I am currently using. I love it b/c I can submerge it in my mash tun and not worry about it. I would like to incorporate it in the new system if possible

If the probe is submersible then you should be able to thread it into the tubing that is your recirc return. Would that work?
