I was just saying that you need some kind of heat input whether it's direct fire or not.

I don't remember who it was on HBT, but they made a quasi cooler tun by putting a smaller pot inside a larger one and using foam insulation in the air gap created. Best of both worlds really.

So one of the main reasons we keep considering the keggle (or a pot of some kind) is the limits of a 10 gal. cooler with grain - we're pretty much stuck doing 5 gal batches

So, how about one of those jumbo 70 or 100 qt coolers?
