Default help! :) carboy level issue?

heya,

i just racked my pumkin ale to secondary, and due to the tremendous amount of trub from the pumkin, i can only siphon maybe 4gals. Ive been told that its a bad thing to have too much empty space in the carboy (surface level of the beer) because of contamination or whatever. what should i do here? funnel some trub into the carboy maybe? or do you think i should be ok?

empty space is fine once you get a co2 blanket on it.
