With my brew budget at zero right now for new equipment, but with all of the talk the last couple of days about porkert/corona/grizzly mills, I thought to myself "a barley crusher is nowhere on the horizon, I could use one of these" and so I posted a "wanted" on freecycle.

I got this:



Brand new in the box, never used! Score. Would I have paid for one? No. But for free this mill will be great! Now to get a longer bolt so I can use my drill, and rig up a bucket contraption.

Congrats. I use the same mill, aquired in the same manner. A word of caution though: in the persuit of better efficiency, I seem to have extracted some tannins in my last few brews by grinding too fine with my corona mill.
