My love is like a cherry and cherries go with beer.
My love is like chocolate and chocolate goes with beer.

My love, loves stout, a malty stout, for her a fine fine brew
…and for this Valentine’s day I will make her special brew

Some cherries and some chocolate will be added to the wort
I’ll make Cherry Chocolate Stout that can be eaten with a fork

…and when the fourteenth rolls around two cases I will give
Because, beside beer!, she is the reason that I live
