Default Finding a test jar locally?

There is no LHBS here so I was wondering where I might look for a test jar for my hydrometer? I lost the bottom piece of my old one somehow, so now all I have is a tube.

Do you still have the plastic tube your hydrometer probably came in? They will work.

Since you still have the tube, how about gluing a piece of plastic to the bottom of it? or even just hold your hand under it tight while taking a reading. Of course that would probably require two people to take a reading

You're going to have to wander Home Depot inserting your tube into things.

A dab of epoxy and a little square of plywood and you should be good to go.

Mine fell over and cracked at the top. Now, the edge is VERY crooked. I get beer all over me when I drink the sample at kegging time.

Get a hole saw bit of the same diameter and drill a block of wood.
