I was wondering if there is a good way to check prices of various homebrew-related equipment (such as Corny Kegs, CO2 regulators/canisters, Stainless steel pots, and maybe even obscure items such as wireless thermometers, etc...). Right now I'm kinda stuck between checking prices between the local homebrew stores and ebay...
I don't like ebay for ingredients, but for random equipment it should be fine.
I use my LHBS and austinhomebrew.com for almost everything. Kegconnection and micromatic for my kegging needs. The prices are generally about the same across the board. The only thing that really ends up making a difference is the shipping price.
I've had so good fortune on ebay but also got so crap. Keggles rusting at the wields, corny with 2 gas posts. Internet is almost alway cheaper than LHBS. But if the price is close I buy from the LHBS and buy all my grain from him so far.
