Default equipment to ferment a lager.

I have been making ales for about 2 years now. I want to start to do some lagers in the near future. What do you guys use to keep a steady lower temp? I have heard of people putting a carboy in the tub with water and cycling frozen water bottles in it to keep the temp, but that seems tought to keep a consistent temperature. I am thinking of getting a mini-fridge. Any suggestions for a good one? Any other ideas you have I would love to hear them. Thanks!!!

A dedicated fridge with a temp controller is probably the easiest way to do it.
