Default dropped my strainer in my brew!!

I was straining an extract brew boil into my 5 gal bucket and it fell into the brew. When I pulled the strainer out......everything in it was in the beer...and it was a full strainer of stuff...pumpkin, hops, a little grain... So what should I do? Let it ferment and retstrain into a secondary.....or do I need to get the stuff out now. Will it alter my beer if its in the primary during fermentation??

don't strain it after it's done fermenting...you could put a hop bag at the end of your siphon when you transfer to secondary. it'll all settle, i wouldn't worry about it. the beer will be fine.

Leave it! It will ferment and then everything will settle out in the primary. Just rack above it when you move it to secondary. You don't want to strain or oxygenate when it's done in primary. If you really, really feel you need to do something, you could restrain now before fermentation starts as long as your second container/pot and strainer are santizied.

That is so funny... I was straining my Pumpkin porter on Friday and the same thing happened. I guess we will know in a few weeks, right

This has happened to me twice. I just pull out the strainer (it was sanitized prior to use) and keep using it to strain what I can. Just means a bit more trub at racking time.

I would recommend also going with a blow-off tube instead of an air-lock. With all that extra "stuff" floating around, you might increase the chances of a plugged air-lock.
