Default Didn't think I could be this stupid...

So...

I used to have 2 great 5 gal carboys. One day whilst cleaning my equip, I decided to use a gallon jug of premixed star-san to sanitize one of the carboys. I reached under the sink, retrieved the jug, dumped it in, swished it around & dumped it out. It was then I noticed the smell. Murphy's Oil Soap. Dang it, I thought the floors looked awfully shiny.

Long story short: Is it at all possible to use a carboy for homebrew once it has been thoroughly cleaned with Murphy's Oil Soap? I could just kick myself.

Don't know if there's an answer out there...just had to vent.

If it's glass, you could be fine after a few soaks with Oxiclean.

Yeah, maybe even start out with some warm water and dish soap. It should help cut that oil. That's the nice thing about glass, it's impervious. You can get it clean.
