My 5 gallon Better Bottle has developed a couple cracks on the bottom after a number of years of use. I don't want to risk using it to ferment in anymore, but does anyone have any tips on something I can do with it other than just recycle it?

Cut the bottom off, turn it upside down and use it as a hopper for a grain mill.

Cut the bottom off and use it as a bullhorn.

Store some grain in there.

Why do you think it cracked? What kind of sanitizer/cleaner do you use?
