Default Coleman Xtreme 52 Qt. Cooler on sale at Kmart

I know this has become a popular cooler for mash tun conversion. They are usually pretty pricey at $55, but Kmart has them for $32 right now.... so I pulled the trigger and picked one up.

Just a heads-up for anyone thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these

Decent Deal, I got mine for about $26+tax at Sears a couple years ago during a backyard sale.

Perfect sized MLT IMO.

If you are going to set up BeerSmith or any other brewing software, I emailed Coleman a while back to find out the exact weight of the cooler and they responded with 13lbs, therefore when setting up your equipment 13 is the magic number for this cooler.

I have a Colman extreme ( not for mash tun) mine has wheels and the bottom isn't flat. Is the bottom flat on yours?

The bottom is flat on the 52 Qt. No wheels.
