Default CO2 Tanks

I had posted this in Classified but thought in might need to go here. What do you think.

Are these a good buy for $75?

I am waiting on answers on previous use and last inspection.

Update: The guy doesn't know what there were used for previously. There were there when he moved in a year ago and he is just trying to rid of them.

Thanks in advance,

$75 for three tanks? Very good deal. Bring them to a swap place (instead of a refill place) and the date will be irrelevant. You could probably re-sell one of them for $40-$50 and end up with two tanks for $25 - $35.

Call me a cheap bas***d, i've colleced five 20 pounder steel Co2 bottles free over the years. A little cleanup and paint they look as good as any of those aluminum tanks some people must have. Rather spend my money on something else that makes brewing taste better and looks just as cool. Heck my aluminum 80 cu/ft scuba tank failed a hydro but the 1952 72 cu/ft steel tank keeps passing hydros.

Very good deal as long as they were just used to hold CO2. I'll call dibs on the smallest one. How much you want for it? And how big exactly is it. You could probably sell 2 and yours for free.

Did that guy use an etch-a-sketch to take that picture?
