Chest freezer converted to lager/draft box

Pretty much went with the tried-and-true design of using a 4" collar to lift the lid and provide mounting points for the taps, the gas line, and the temp controller. WYSIWYG, only item to note is the gas entry through the side; there's a flare-to-ball lock adapter hidden in there to quick-connect the canisters, courtesy of Northern Brewer. Easy project, cost maybe $270 all-in with the freezer, lumber & parts.

That gas in on the side of the collar is a nice idea. I might just "borrow" that.
