I've seen this before. It's a milk container with a hole in it.
It looks like this has a threaded lid, but you can get them with clamped lids which seems like it would give a better seal.

They're the deepwood stainless fermenters and growlers made in Michigan, and the vendor is on here. Tey even dropped a bunch of them on TX-brew for the drawing 2 days ago. They also were prizes in the Iron Brewer comp here in Detroit.
There's at least 1 thread on them on here. They're pretty awesome.

Like I'd use a piece of junk like that for my fermenting. I only use platinum-lined fermentors.

They are not made in Michigan, they are manufactured in China. The company stated that were working on manufacturing them here. I responded that as soon as they do I may purchase some of their items.
