Cheap Digital Thermometer for BIAB
|
|
I will be doing 2.5 gallon BIAB batches. I am looking for a cheap digital thermometer I can use to monitor temperature. Any recommendations?

If you don't want to spend over $50, you might as well go with the CDN Proaccurate for $17 on my site. It's the best sub $20 unit I've had in my brewery.

I'll second this. You can calibrate it too. I have $100 thermapen and the CDN measures the exact same temps.

I use this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0021AEAG2/ref=oh_o03_s00_i00_details
But I only paid $12 for it, now its doubled in price for some reason.

The cost of it went up too, but not by that much. I have it on my site for $17.

If the probe is completely waterproof it should be fine.
