Default cheap 3 piece ball valve

What the difference between these two valves and can they be used for home brewing?

Subscribed. I went to JOMAR's webpage and saw their product decriptions for both valves one is Stainless and one is Carbon. Both have the same UL certifications and descriptions. However Carbon steel can still rust so I would go for the SS one. However I would like to hear more from other pros around.

Stainless Steel is the one you want.
Carbon Steel WILL rust, esp in acidic conditions. And fast, too.
If you want cheaper ss ball valves for homebrewing you can get 2 piece from http://www.greatbargain.net/order/index.html

They both won't work for you. The carbon steel will rust and the stainless one is socket weld (NO THREADS).

$19 bucks for a 3 piece ball valve that's awesome. What is the actuator mount version used for?
