If you have a variable speed drill set it to the lowest speed and take your time. If you overspeed the bit, you will work harden the steel and make it a PITA to finish the hole. 99% of holes drilled are done too fast and the results rarely turn out as expected. So slow down, take your time, and lube liberally. then you will be just fine.
